Cute 2.5D RPG Infinite Mana kicks off its Kickstarter

Infinite Mana’s Kickstarter has started, showing off a cute-looking RPG with a mixture of 2D and 2.5D elements and strong Japanese influence.

Infinite Mana Kickstarter -- a pixel art character with white hair in a ponytail stands in what looks like an underwater scene, surrounded by aquatic foliage and strange colours.

Infinite Mana, a new indie game from Wonderlust Games, is now live on Kickstarter. The campaign’s goal is $41,700/£33,506, and so far it has raised £1,744. The team promises a game that combines JRPG and Western elements in a world full of glitches that mess with the visuals.

On the face of it, it looks right up our street. With no random battles, a combination of HD-2D-style parts as well as classic 2D sections, and dozens of hours promised, it feels like the perfect fit for Switch.

Sadly, the game coming to console is a distant stretch goal – right now it’s only going to come to PC. But, if the goals are met, we might see this stylish RPG come to our portable pals. Maybe even mobile one day? You can check out the Kickstarter campaign for yourself if you fancy.
