The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth is an upcoming collectable RPG from Electronic Arts and Middle-earth Enterprises, with beta testing this summer

Electronic Arts have partnered with Middle-earth Enterprises to develop a new mobile game set in the world of Lord of the Rings. The collectathon RPG, called The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth, is set to include “immersive storytelling, turn-based combat, deep collection systems, and a wide roster of characters from across the vast universe of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit.”

With limited beta testing expected this summer, it shouldn’t be too long before you get to see what form the game will take. Sadly, we still don’t have The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth release date, so there’s no way of knowing when the wider public will get their hands on the game.

This is the second Lord of the Rings mobile game to come out in recent years, after LotR: Rise To War from NetEase games. For more nitty-gritty mobile gaming, check out our guide to the best mobile strategy games to do some warmongering on the go.

When is The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth release date?

We don’t have The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth release date yet, but limited beta testing is set for summer, so that’s the earliest you could get your hands on the new game.
