A Nintendo eShop listing leaked Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope ahead of the Ubisoft Forward showcase that took place today. The digital event confirmed that the game is real, and that you can expect to get your hands on it in 2022.
It’s not the first time that Mario and the Raving Rabbids have come together to cause mischief and mayhem, as Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle was released back in 2017. The sequel looks to follow a similar game style as the turn-based, tactical RPG. In the crossover title, you will need to pick your dream team, taking three heroes with you. All-in-all there will be nine characters to choose from.
Get ready to explore a variety of planets as you travel through the galaxy to save your Spark companions. There will be secrets to uncover, quests to conquer, and new bosses to defeat. You may also come across some familiar enemies on your travels. If you are a fan of Ubisoft’s Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, you will likely enjoy this upcoming sequel.
Should you be a fan of the Nintendo mascot or Ubisoft’s Rabbids, you may also want to keep your eye on Sparks of Hope. Who knows, it could make you want to play the first game, too.
