It seems like the Pokémon Home 2.0 update is finally here, as thanks to information from Serebii.net, we know that Pokémon Home is undergoing major maintenance on May 18. Announced quite some time ago, this latest update will finally bring compatibility with Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, and Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
The wait has been exacerbated by continued hacks in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, with the Sinnoh remakes a hotbed of cloned and ‘spoofed’ Pokémon that Game Freak has had to find ways to deter. Pokémon Legends: Arceus also presented issues, as Alpha Pokémon are a new type of ‘mon, and no doubt transferring them to Home has its own issues. So, when is the Pokémon Home 2.0 update?
Pokémon Home 2.0 allows players not just to transfer Pokémon to Pokémon Home, but back to Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, and Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Pokémon you currently have in your collection can finally explore Hisui (if they’re part of the Hisui Pokedex). Hopefully, when Pokémon Scarlet and Violet launch later this year, Pokémon Home support won’t take quite so long to arrive.
