Trainers long for a Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Minior appearance

While a Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Minior appearance is unlikely, trainers can’t help but hope that the ‘mon does show up in the Nintendo Switch games

As we near generation nine and inch ever close to the 1,000 Pokémon mark, it’s fair to say that there are many fan-favourite ‘mon out there that trainers can’t help but love. Though admittedly, a fair few of them are from the early generations as seen in the Kanto and Johto regions, hence why they frequently show up, but what about those that trainers love from Alola, the seventh-gen region, don’t they deserve to be on Nintendo Switch in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet?

Well, according to a new Reddit poll, the masses live in the hope that there’ll be a Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Minior appearance. Yes, the rock and flying Pokémon hybrid that hails from the Alola region. Sure, upon the release of the new games, this ‘mon is only two generations old, but some Redditors think the creature deserves to feature in more titles.

In fact, for Reddit user IIIDysphoricIII, Minior is their favourite Pokémon, and when it comes to the poll, they can’t help but ask, “why would you say no? It being there doesn’t hurt you.” A sentiment we can agree with, the inclusion of this oddly charming creature can only be a positive thing – if you don’t like it, don’t catch it. Simple.

Is Minior in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet?

We only know a few entries that are in the Paldea pokédex, so while we can’t definitively say that Minior doesn’t show up, we have to admit that we think it’s somewhat unlikely. Though, for all you Minior fans out there, we hope we’re wrong.
