A 2D sidescroller in a 3D visual style, Sonic Superstars looks similar to Sonic Generations, but is strictly about that sidescrolling action. The world is bright and colorful, and we even get some glimpses of fun new powers in the Sonic Superstars announcement trailer.
Plus, like any good Sonic game (depending on who you ask), you can also play as several of the Sonic crew. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy are all playable, with up to four-player local multiplayer.
