It’s a celebration of the upcoming Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, and I’m personally hoping that everyone’s ink will match up to the colours associated with the Pokémon types. That’d be nice.
With the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet release date coming up, Splatoon 3’s Pokémon Splatfest is perfectly timed. You can fight for your side by choosing one, then hopping into Turf War and beating other players. Play throughout the weekend before jumping into Tri-colour Turf War. Is your team in the lead? Get ready to defend a central position from the other two teams.
Here’s what Splatoon North America said to announce the Splatfest: “Breaking news for the next Splatfest! The theme celebrates the release of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. Which first partner Pokémon would you choose? Grass-type, Fire-type, or Water-type? The fun starts Friday 11/11 at 4 PM PT and runs through 4 PM PT on Sunday 11/13.”
