The team at Wanderword, in conjunction with Xbox Game Studios’ inXile entertainment, are behind the title.

It certainly sounds like you’re in for a wild ride, as you find yourself in the settlement of Largefearn, a place where its citizens are disappearing under mysterious circumstances. You can probably guess where this is going. Yes, you must unravel the mystery, and discover what’s going on.
As with any RPG, you get to choose from different classes – bard, fighter, rogue, and practitioner – when you create your character. Furthermore, each class has two advanced subclasses for you to explore as you become stronger. Oh, and don’t worry, you don’t have to face this journey alone, as you can recruit companions to join you.
If you’re familiar with The Bard’s Tale, you know what to expect from combat. However, for those that are new to the series, you can expect turn-based battles. So, you’d best put your strategy hat on.
