Four-way duels finally arrive on the Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel release date

The Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel release date is right around the corner, bringing with it a mash-up of the classic card game and four-way battles

Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel, a brand new four-player card game, is coming to mobile on September 6. Developed by Konami, the game is coming to the App Store and Google Play worldwide, bringing with it four-way fights that merge with elements of the classic trading card game.

As you can see in the gameplay trailer below, the game features different lines that connect opposing players, and then 3D-animated avatars battle it out along those lines of engagement. This looks to bring in new tactical elements and force you to consider the plans of three other players at the same time. Still, we’ll have to wait until the Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel release date to see how it plays out in-game.

It’s not an all-out war, however, as alongside the four-player versus mode there’s a four-player co-op mode and single-player duelling. There are also characters to team up with or face off against, monster customisation, and deck building to keep you interested for the long haul.
