As anyone who has dozens, if not hundreds of hours in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom knows, the game is big. With a thousand Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom koroks to collect and so many different things to do, it’s almost unthinkable to spend less than a billion hours in the game. Well, the latest Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom speedrun does it in less than an hour, believe it or not.
As reported by Eurogamer, the catchily-named Zdi6923 completed the game in 59 minutes and 22 seconds, as noted on speedrun.com. The player also uploaded it to YouTube, but there are, of course, big story spoilers. Don’t give it a watch unless you’ve finished the game (or don’t care!).
The previous record was one hour, two minutes, and 42 seconds, held by SlyZorua. So Zdi6923 shave over two minutes off the record. Pretty impressive sure, but it’s still longer than it took me to return Balan Wonderworld, so, y’know, who’s the real champ here?
