Following last month’s tease, social deduction megahit Among Us has now revealed an in-depth look at its new map, known as ‘The Airship’. The announcement arrived at The Game Awards 2020 and showed off gameplay of The Airship’s distinct areas, such as a kitchen and comfy-looking living space.
The new map will also introduce fresh features, such as elevators and ladders that you can use to access different parts of the ship. As usual, you can expect it to come bearing a host of new tasks to complete. Basically, the Airship is already shaping up to be Among Us’ best-looking and most creative map to date. It’s currently slated to arrive in early 2021.
The map was first mentioned in an update post all the way back in September, where Innersloth called it a “Henry Stickmin themed location”, loosely inspired by its choose-your-own-adventure series of the same name.
Innersloth certainly has plenty to be happy about this evening, as Among Us has been crowned both the ‘Best Multiplayer Game’ and the ‘Best Mobile Game’ at The Game Awards 2020.

It faced some incredibly stiff competition in the latter category from the likes of Call of Duty: Mobile, Legends of Runeterra, Pokémon Cafe Mix, and one of the best mobile RPGs of all: Genshin Impact.
