BotW amiibo – equipment, companions, and ingredients

Find out more about the Breath of the Wild amiibo rewards

Link atop a horse

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sets our hero Link off to face another evil in a grand environment. This time around it also allows the player much more freedom than previous series instalments, with the addition of cooking minigames, deer hunting, and paraglider courses.

One of the main features in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is amiibo scanning, usage, and the ability to acquire exclusive rewards such as legendary equipment or companions, such as Wolf Link and Epona from previous Legend of Zelda iterations. You can scan each BotW amiibo once a day to yield the player exclusive rewards not available in any other way.

If you have amiibo from other games, don’t worry, you’re able to scan every available amiibo into The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Non-Zelda amiibo will give you an assortment of rewards to help Link early on in his journey with cooking ingredients such as a variety of shrooms, meat, herbs, and safflina.

Now, let’s take a look at every The Legend of Zelda amiibo, and the exclusive rewards you can earn.
