Zelda: Breath of the Wild amiibo - what they all unlock

Find out everything about the Breath of the Wild amiibo and which rewards they give you in the game in our guide - along with how to use them.

Three BOTW amiibo figures on a light blue Pocket Tactics background

One of the main features to explore in Hyrule is Breath of the Wild's amiibo scanning, usage, and the ability to acquire exclusive rewards such as legendary equipment or companions, like Wolf Link and Epona from previous Legend of Zelda iterations. You can scan each BotW amiibo once a day to yield the player-exclusive rewards not available in any other way.

This is just the tip of the iceberg of our helpful guides. For more beyond BotW amiibo, check out our BotW recipeBotW memory locations, and BotW Link guides for more help as you tackle the open-world game.

Here's what every BotW amiibo figure gets you in the game:

What rewards do I get from the BotW amiibo?

After your first scan of each specific Breath of the Wild amiibo, the rewards will become random. Depending on the amiibo you choose to scan you will receive different items, such as swords, axes, halberds, spears, shields, arrows, bows, and potentially materials, such as amber, opal, flint, diamond, ancient core, star fragment, or even ingredients like fish, fruit, meat, shrooms, vegetables, and plants with different rarity percentages.
