With No More Heroes 3 just around the corner, now’s a great time to get caught up on this delightfully weird series from the mind of cult developer Goichi ‘Suda51’ Suda. You might have already played No More Heroes and its direct sequel, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, but it’s probably worth visiting the black sheep of the family ahead of No More Heroes 3’s release date in August.
Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes is a top-down spin-off that sees hitman Travis Touchdown slicing and dicing his way through hordes of enemies in neon-soaked environments. It’s perfect if you’re in the market for some mindless – albeit really rather stylish – fun, and story-wise it’s an essential piece of the puzzle that should lead nicely into the upcoming threequel.
Right now, Amazon is selling physical versions of Travis Strikes Again on Nintendo Switch at a 25% discount, so be sure to check out the link below if you’re interested.
