Horizon fans, you’re going to want to get a ticket to this year’s Develop:Brighton conference, with the news today that the team at Guerrilla are heading to the event as the headline keynote speakers. Two top talents from the developer, as well as the former studio director, are set to explain, elaborate, and engage the audience on all things Aloy.
Joining Guerrilla’s Jan-Bart van Beek and Michiel van der Leeuw is the VP and Head of Development Strategy for PlayStation Angie Smets, with all three teaming up to deliver the “Guerrilla: To New Horizons” talk. Considering the wild success of the series in terms of both critical reception and sales terms, we’re expecting this to be an extremely popular session with attendees.
It’s not just a talk the Guerrilla team are coming all the way to Brighton for, though. The event organisers announced alongside the talk that Guerrilla is going to pick up the prestigious Develop Star Award. Smets is clearly looking forward to the event, with the former Guerrilla head telling the organisers, “We’re excited to celebrate with our peers, share development insights from over two decades of studio history, and speak to why we’re confident about the road ahead.”
