Disney Mirrorverse is full of heroes and villains, each of which not only falls into one of four classes but also has numerous traits, one of which is royalty. Of course, you need to be a member of a royal family for this to apply, so characters such as Anna, Ariel, Simba, and Elsa fit the bill, but what about Aladdin? Why does Prince Ali, fabulous he, Ali Ababwa, not have that status?
According to a Reddit post by _n_Me, the hero deserves such an honour, and they’ve got the receipts to prove it. For one, there should be a Disney Mirrorverse Aladdin royalty trait because Tiana has that honour. As the Redditor rightly puts it, “she is not royalty. But she did marry into it, and so did Aladdin. So if Tiana is considered royalty by marriage, Aladdin should also be considered royalty.”
It’s a fair statement, but _n_Me has another reason too, as in Aladdin and the King of Thieves, “Aladdin’s father, Cassim, is the ‘King of Kings’, making Aladdin a Prince.” The Redditor has certainly put a lot of thought into their argument.
Why isn’t there a Disney Mirrorverse Aladdin royalty trait?
Honestly, the only people that know the answer to this question are the team at Kabam, but it’s worth noting that Aladdin has numerous other traits to his name in Disney Mirrorverse. Though _n_Me isn’t alone in what they think, as numerous Redditors voice their support for this argument, and we certainly love Rabbit_Mom’s opinion, “Aladdin should be royalty if Genie is also on the team.”
