Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is a hit, reaching the one million sales mark less than two months after its release. The recent musou mashup from Koei Tecmo is on track to be one of the best-selling Warriors titles, when compared to previous releases. The last Fire Emblem Warriors came out in 2017, and hit the same sales mark six months after release.
The current best-selling musou game is Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, which has sold over four million copies since its release in November 2020. The recent Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes sales don’t quite match up to that game, which sold a staggering three million copies in four days, but it’s still a strong showing for a usually niche genre.
And it’s for good reason too, as you can read in our Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes review. The game has excellently tuned musou combat combined with great relationship elements taken from the mainline Fire Emblem games.
