Team17 and developer Glee-Cheese announced the rhythm-based battle royale at the Future Games Show Summer Showcase as part of Summer Games Fest 2023. You play as a party-going pigeon, competing against 29 others in four rounds of intense rhythm action that also test your memory, reflexes, reaction time, and rap skills.

Of course, if you want to stand out from the flock you need to preen your feathers to express your personality. Collect breadcrumbs as you compete to unlock hundreds of cosmetics including full outfits, accessories, and taunts to look your very best while taking down the competition.

Headbangers Rhythm Royale features 23 talon-tapping minigames with accompanying original scores from the Glee-Cheese team. You can share the fun using the crossplay feature to team up with or square up to your friends on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
