How long to beat Digimon Survive

It takes roughly 25-30 hours to beat Digimon Survive, according to our own experience as well as the listings already up on howlongtobeat.com. Of course, with Digimon Survive being a primarily visual novel experience, this all depends on whether you read every possible dialogue option in the game, or whether you readily skip through all that information. Either way, a rushed playthrough is more like 20 hours, while taking the time to read everything will take you up to about 35-40 hours.

However, it’s also worth pointing out that there are four separate Digimon Survive endings, with three routes through the main game and a possible fourth in new game plus. Fortunately, each of these routes still has a similar playtime, so to complete all three original options as well as a new game plus run, you’re looking at a time of anything from 140-180 hours.

How long to beat Digimon Survive new game plus

Without giving you any spoilers for the main story of Digimon Survive, you’re probably going to want to play the new game plus mode after your first playthrough. There are a lot of reasons for this, but one of the biggest draws is unlocking Mugen Collection battles for the new game plus run, which are a collection of suped-up battle challenges to test your team. Fortunately, you carry all you’re levelling through to the new game, so don’t worry about grinding up to high levels.

Obviously, taking part in Mugen Collection battles will add to your playtime, and there are possible changes in the story that can add a couple of hours to your playthrough, so we’re currently estimating a new game plus run to take around 30-35 hours. Of course, you can spend as long as you want in the digital world, but if you want to scrape through with the bare minimum, it’ll be more like 25-30 hours even in new game plus.

How long to 100% Digimon Survive?

If you want to do everything there is to do in Digimon Survive you had better put any other games you were planning on playing to the side for a while, because this one is a doozy. Considering we’re still trying to do it ourselves, and no one has on howlongtobeat.com yet, we’re estimating a 100% playthrough of Digimon Survive to be 150-200 hours, which includes ending all four routes, recruiting every Digimon, and finding every memory item.
