How do I charge Nintendo Switch controllers?
If you want to charge Joy-Cons, you can do either of the following:
- Attach them to the sides of your Switch
- Or, you can get a charging grip to keep them full as you game
We suggest that you keep the Joy-Cons attached to your console when they’re not in use, and the most efficient way to charge everything is when the Switch is docked with the dock plugged in and turned on.
To charge a pro controller, you can:
- Buy a charging grip for it
- Use a USB-C cable
The best thing about a pro controller is that you can charge it while still playing, thanks to the USB slots in the dock.
