In Stars and Time release date time-hops onto Nintendo Switch

We finally have an In Stars and Time release date, bringing Adrienne Bazir’s Undertale-inspired time-looping RPG to the Nintendo Switch.

The wait is finally over as developer Adrienne Bazir and publisher Armor Games Studios have announced the In Stars and Time release date. We’ve been looking forward to this time-looping RPG about found family for a long time, so we can’t wait to dive right into Siffrin’s story.

In Stars and Time sees you play as Siffrin, an adventurer on a quest with his ragtag group of companions Mirabelle, Isabeau, Odile, and Bonnie to end the tyrannical reign of an evil king. They don’t make it very far before tragedy strikes and they find themselves in a time loop – one that only Siffrin seems to see. The monochrome aesthetics remind us of games like Undertale, as does the heartfelt story.

Bazir goes into more detail about the history of the game and its LGBTQ+ found family themes in our In Stars and Time interview, but it’s clear that while combat is important in this game, learning more about the people you love is what will help you save the day and escape the loop. Keep trying and failing until you beat enough enemies at rock, paper, scissors, and work out the mystery behind your looping fate.

When is the In Stars and Time release date?

In Stars and Time leaps onto the Nintendo Switch, PC, and other consoles on November 20, 2023. Make sure you wishlist the game on the Nintendo eShop today to stay in the loop (get it?).
