Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai is coming West

With the news that Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai is coming west on Nintendo Switch, we're anticipating a release window

We love it when a cult title that we’ve never seen in the West finally makes its way over from foreign shores, especially when that title is an anime tie-in like Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai on Nintendo Switch, the much-hyped game from the Dragon Quest series only seen so far in Japan.

There’s no word of an Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai release date just yet, but prior to this news, we thought we might never see the manga-inspired tale of Dai and his epic battle against the resurrected evil of Dark Lord Haldar. The story isn’t the only thing ripped from the anime either, with the usually colourful world of Dragon Quest looking a little more cell-shaded, and in all honesty, a little bit more like Dragon Ball Z than you might anticipate.

It’s been something of a year for Japanese exclusive titles making their way over to the West, with the news of Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai’s impending release less than a week after Konami confirmed the remaster return of the Suikoden series. That’s as well as Trinity Trigger release window finally introducing the beloved title to the West, along with a more recognisable face in Mega Man & Battle Fighters coming to Switch.

Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai release date speculation

Right now, we’ve very little idea of when an Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai release date might fall. What we do know is that as the game is already available in Japan, it’s probably currently being translated into other languages, and hopefully Square will make more information available as the development progresses.
