Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest – The Adventure of Dai comes to Nintendo Switch, home consoles, and PC later this year. In spite of its unwieldy name, it looks like a fast-paced action RPG, though we have to wait for the Infinity Strash release date to find out if it’s a wide-ranging single-player game or just some slick slashing.
It’s hard to tell what the game is beyond its action combat from the trailer – which you can check out below. You see Dai screaming a lot and beating up everything from slimes and cackling monsters to some poor goat-looking things. But there is story stuff, as you’d expect from the manga and anime source material.
The story focuses on Dai, as I’m sure you guessed. It takes its inspiration from the first 41 episodes of Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai, hence the name. To make things even more confusing, Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai’s end-of-service announcement came recently – though no, that’s not the anime, that’s a separate mobile title. Naming convention confusion, eh?
When is the Infinity Strash release date?
Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest – The Adventure of Dai launches on September 28, 2023, for Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series S/X, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. You can check out the trailer below.
