It’s time to get your stealthiest cardboard box out, as we’ve got a Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol.1 release date. Nintendo revealed the compilation title during the July 2023 Nintendo Direct, and we’re already waiting to add it to our list of the best Switch stealth games.

The compilation includes Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Metal Gear, and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. There’s also the NES version of Metal Gear and Snake’s Revenge, for all you retro-fans out there.

It doesn’t stop there, though. The compilation title includes both Metal Gear Solid graphic novels in digital form, plus screenplay books, strategy guides – hey, that’s our job! – and a digital soundtrack. Essentially, this is a must-have for any fans of the series.
