Metroid Dread amiibo are currently available at half price thanks to the Black Friday festivities. This is going to be good news for anybody who enjoyed the latest instalment in the Metroid series and would like to unlock absolutely everything in the game (which requires these amiibo). Unfortunately, this deal is not available in the UK.
This set includes amiibo figures of Samus Aran (as she appears in Metroid Dread) and E.M.M.I. the sinister robot that stalks her throughout the game. Both of these figures have been beautifully crafted and look absolutely fantastic, so even ignoring the in-game benefits that they provide, they’re worth buying as collectors items if nothing else.
It’s only a couple of small bonuses, but you’ll need both of these amiibo if you want to unlock the maximum capacity for health and missiles. We don’t know how long this deal is going to stay in place for, but we do know that amiibo prices fluctuate quite wildly. It would be annoying to miss the opportunity to buy these now and then find out they’re worth hundreds of dollars in a few months.
