When romping around the world of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, you might come across a time-space distortion, and find a shiny little shard on the floor. With so much going on in this exciting, critter-hunting adventure, these may just fly straight over your head like a Braviary that heard a mount whistle.
But Pokémon Legends: Arceus shards are super handy, and can be a real asset to any aspiring Pokétrainer – as can Pokémon Legends: Arceus time-space distortions. So, if you want your pocket lined with Pokédollars and a Pokédex full of rare pals that you can’t usually snag in the Hisui region, you’re in the right place.
If you want more help on your Poké-adventure, we’ve got heaps more Arceus content. Be sure to check out our Pokémon Legends: Arceus outbreak, Pokémon Legends: Arceus mystery gift codes, and Pokémon Legends: Arceus noble Pokémon guides.
What do shards do in Pokémon Legends: Arceus?
Pokémon Legends: Arceus shards come in three colours (red, green, and blue) and have one sole use – to be crafted into star pieces. Then, you can sell these pretty little astrological oddities at shops for a whopping 5,000 Pokédollars a piece.
You’ll need to buy the crafting recipe for star pieces from Anvin in Jubilife Village for 10,000 Pokédollars, but it’s certainly an investment worth its weight in Pokébucks.
There are different requirements for crafting a star piece. You can use any of the following.
- Three red shards
- Three blue shards
- Three green shards
- One bag of stardust
We’re sure you don’t need to be told that a pocket full of Pokédollars makes for a happy trainer. A decent wad of cash can be as hard to come by as the elusive Pokémon Legends: Arceus shiny Pokémon, and is much needed for things like upgrading your bag space. But these handy little shards can be your ticket out of financial hardship in no time.
How do I get shards in Pokémon Legends: Arceus?
So, now you know what you can use Pokémon Legends: Arceus shards for, you probably want to know where to get them right? Well, you’ll need to keep an eye out for space-time distortions.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus time-space distortions are world events similar to mass outbreaks. During these anomalies, high-levelled Pokémon that don’t usually spawn in the Hisui region start popping up like daisies, giving you a great opportunity to fill out your Pokédex. You can even catch all of the Pokémon Legends: Arceus Eevee evolutions without having to find the corresponding rock through time-space distortions, which adds to your progression of catching these Eeeveelutions.
Additionally, Pokémon Legends: Arceus shards only spawn during these time-space distortions, appearing as small, light blue/green specks on the ground. You can find heaps of them during these events, along with bags of stardust, so be sure to hop on space-time distortions as soon as they crop up to get collecting.
