What are Pokémon Legends: Arceus outbreaks?
Pokémon Legends: Arceus outbreaks, or mass outbreaks, are events that see swarms of Pokémon go to a specific area on the map. As you progress through the game, you’re notified of these mass outbreaks, which each last for 15 minutes.
When you get to the location, there are four of the same type of Pokémon gathered together, and, as you catch them, more spawn in their place. This is super handy for filling out your Pokédex entry on the specific Pokémon featured in the outbreak, and also significantly increases your chances of getting yourself a shiny.
What are the Pokémon Legends: Arceus outbreak shiny catch rates?
As mentioned above, one of the biggest bonuses to Pokémon Legends: Arceus outbreaks is the increased catch rate for shinnies. You can push these rates even further by having a shiny charm and perfect research for the Pokémon featured in the outbreak. Here are the stats.
- Base – 26 in 4096 (one in 158.2)
- Species research level ten – 27 in 4096 (one in 152.9)
