With thanks to Serebii for the information, the Regulation D changes add the ability to use any Pokémon available in Scarlet & Violet, including Alola Forms, Galarian Forms, Hisuian Forms, and sub-legendary Pokémon. The Pokémon Scarlet Violet ranked battle regulation d ruleset comes into effect on July 1, 2023, until September 30, 2023.

Due to these changes, many powerful Pokémon are set to change up the meta, with stalwarts like Landorus expected to be mainstays in many sets. It’ll be a while until the dust settles and the new meta emerges, but it’s sure to be fun to discover what Pokémon claim the top spots.
