TECNO MWC 2024 lineup reveals a smartphone with a rolling screen

Ever thought “I’d love to have a robot dog, a roll-up smartphone, and a gaming handheld that supports AR glasses”? The Techno MWC 2024 booth delivers just that.

Four different Tecno phones floating in the sky

Following a successful comeback appearance in 2023, Tecno’s MWC 2024 lineup has come out swinging in Barcelona. With a presence in over 70 countries, the global tech brand is set to unveil some insanely brilliant new technology concepts. A smartphone with a roll-up screen, anyone? The company’s exhibition, located at stand 6B11 in Hall 6 of Fira Gran Via, is a honey pot for busy bee tech enthusiasts and industry insiders in attendance.

Under the leadership of General Manager Jack Guo, the Tecno MWC 24 official approach is throwing its future, quite literally, into the future. The brand’s commitment to pushing boundaries is evident in its lineup, which includes cutting-edge AI and AR devices such as Pocket GO, a gaming handheld and AR glasses combo.

This also contains breakthroughs in smartphone imaging and high-tech concept devices such as Dynamic 1, a robotic dog inspired by the German Shepherd. We wonder if the rollable device will make its way onto our list of the best foldable phones or the best flip phones.

The Tecno MWC offerings don’t stop there, with our personal favorite concept, Phantom Ultimate, rocking a concept smartphone with a rollable screen. Megabook T16 Pro 2024 Ultra is also worth a shout-out, featuring the latest Intel Core Ultra processors. Tecno is obviously out to prove a point, with some of these products possibly becoming everyday items sooner than the world realizes.

Tecno invites attendees to explore its stand and “witness firsthand how it is shaping the future of technology”. Spearheaded by the Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G, a phone touted for its robust endurance and enhanced entertainment capabilities, the company remains silent about solid specs. The showcase will be rounded off with a healthy range of Phantom, Camon, Spark, and Pova devices for attendees to get hands-on with. There’s something for everyone here; it looks like this is how Tecno plans to navigate the tech industry moving forward.
