Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Nopon and Nopon coin explained

As a staple of the series, there are bound to be some new Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Nopon, so join us as we take a look at all the fuzzy friends we’ve seen so far

Riku and Mañana from Xenoblade Chronicles 3, who are two Noon (fuzzy, round creatures with ears that also work as hands. Mañana is pink and Riku is blue. Rick has fluffy black hair on his head, a black millitary outfit and a strange mechanical gun in his ear-hand. Mañana has a white, pink and purpler outfit with pink hair coming from underneath a fancy hat. She has an ornate white and gold shield in hand.

Xenoblade Chronicles is a series full of strange creatures, automatons, and landmasses. One of the more intriguing races is the Nopon, tiny balls of fluff with ears that they use as arms. Some may love them. Some may hate them. Either way, they appear in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, which we described as “game of the year material” in our Xenoblade Chronicles 3 review.

We’ve actually seen a couple of new Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Nopon already, speaking in their classic broken English and cartoony accents. There are two members of your party, Riku and Manana, who we saw in the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 direct, but they aren’t standard playable characters, but rather one of the many Xenoblade Chronicles 3 heroes.

If you want to get up to speed on everything going on Aionios outside of XC3 Nopon, we’ve got you covered, with the Xenoblade Chronicles timeline so yu know how the stories fit together. We’ve also got guides to Xenoblade Chronicles amiibo and Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Ouroboros for even more Xeno content.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Nopon

Riku & Manana

Riku and Mana work as a pair, being the only heroes who aren’t individual people. Alongside Xenoblade Chronicles 3’s Mio, Xenoblade Chronicles 3’s Noah, and the rest of the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 characters, they’ll be there to help take down the many, many monsters. They’re the main XC3 Nopon.

Riku wields a shield and what looks like a gun, while Manana seems to only have a shield. You can learn more about Xenoblade Chronicles 3 combat and Xenoblade Chronicles 3 classes in our guides to try and get a better idea of how they might fit in. There’s an interesting character chart for the game too, which may reveal more about the characters’ relationships.

What is Nopon coin?

Both gold and silver Nopon coin cap at 99, so be sure to spend them, as any you collect above that amount won’t be stored! The same applies to ether, though it’s a little harder to use up ether.
