Be honest – who here doesn’t like a wholesome and cute adventure now and again? Garden Buddies fits this bill perfectly, and we’re excited to play it. The good news is there’s now an official Garden Buddies release date and you don’t have to wait long until it’s available.
Garden Buddies takes you on an adventure into a woodland, where you meet your enthusiastic new friend Mutsy. They’re vaguely apple-shaped and help to introduce you to this new leafy world. It just sounds like a really lovely gardening game to us.
Not only can you build up a garden into a blooming oasis, but Garden Buddies focuses on relaxation and mindfulness. In the game, there are grounding and breathing techniques to manage everyday anxiety and stress. Now, I don’t know about you, but the change of the seasons never fails to ramp up my anxiety, so grounding exercises sound great to me.
While destressing and planting plenty of greenery you meet other creatures that need your help, and you can solve their problems through intriguing mini-games woven into the story like catching bugs or stacking some rocks.
When is the Garden Buddies release date?
Garden Buddies releases on October 20 for Nintendo Switch and PC and comes from studio RedDeer Games which specializes in indie Switch releases like Under Leaves and the League of Enthusiastic Losers.
