How do I start the Genshin Impact Windtrace event?

To get started with the Windtrace event, you must first reach Adventure Rank 20, then speak to Gygax in Monstadt before May 24.

How do I complete the Genshin Impact Windtrace event?

You will become either a rebel or a hunter during the event. Depending on the role you’re assigned, you must either hide or seek. To enjoy the spoils from the event, you must accumulate Windtrace coins by capturing other players as the hunter, or by hiding proficiently as a rebel.

It’s worth noting you’re only able to compete in contested zones in areas where you have activated the Statue of the Seven. Each day you participate, the number of Windtrace coins you can obtain will increase by 600, so make sure you compete every day.

What are the Genshin Impact Windtrace event rewards?

You can use your hard-earned Windtrace coins to purchase primogems, mora, experience materials, and enchantment ore. If you’re lucky, you can also pick up the extremely adorable Celebration: Peekaboo! namecard.
