We’re getting closer to the release of Kabam’s upcoming mythical RPG, with a King Arthur: Legends Rise pre-registration period kicking into gear following today’s reveal at Summer Games Fest 2023. With a fresh gameplay trailer and upcoming beta test to boot, this new entry to the pantheon of knight games certainly looks worthy of the hype, with seriously impressive graphics for a mobile title.

After revealing the title at GDC 2023, Kabam is now seemingly pushing King Arthur: Legends Rise as its big game for this year, with an anticipated release date arriving before we get to 2024. Still, a lucky few are set to find out what’s in store in the realm of the roundtable early, with beta tests beginning in the United States, Australia, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Philippines, and Hong Kong on June 29.

The latest reveal during the Summer Games Fest opening showcase shows off some of the squad-based RPG combat from the upcoming title. There’s also plenty of extra footage on the King Arthur: Legends Rise YouTube channel, including some clips in which we see Arthur face off against magical enemies, plant demons, and dragons. I don’t remember plant demons from my childhood Arthurian storybooks, but hey, I’ll take it.
