Some sweet, more lighthearted news popped up on Twitter yesterday, namely that Mario + Rabbids director Davide Soliani pre-ordered his own game and apparently does it for every game his team makes. It’s a clear show of love and support for Ubisoft Milan, even though he’s bound to have played it a million times.
Davide Soliani became a bit of a legend after the announcement of the first game, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, at E3 2017, when Shigeru Miyamoto, creator of Mario, came out on stage in the presentation, which made him incredibly emotional. Now, the Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope director continues to warm all our hearts.
I’m sure lots of other team leaders do similar things, but it’s always lovely to see someone caring a lot about their craft and the team they’re in charge of.
