Mobile Legends’ Southeast Asia Cup 2021, MSC 2021, came to a close yesterday. The esports event boasted a prize pool of $150k, and it was held entirely online following the cancellation of last year’s event due to the ongoing pandemic.

The tournament ran from June 7 to June 13 and featured 12 teams: RSG MY, RSG SG, Idonotsleep, Evos Legends, Todak, Cyber Exe, Blacklist International, Bigetron Alpha, Impunity KH, Evos SG, Execration, and Nightmare Esports. The Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup 2021 kicked off with two group stages before culminating in the finals over the weekend.

Ultimately, the tournament champions – Execration – took home a whopping $70k. Meanwhile, the runners up – Blacklist International – walked away with $30k. Oh, and the MVP, Kelra, received a cash prize of $1,500. Those of you who enjoy Mobile Legends and its competitive scene were surely happy to see this event return, as it is set to be one of the game’s biggest competitions this year.

As 2021 progresses, there will be more Mobile Legends esports tournaments, so make sure you tune in to watch some competitive MOBA action.
