Cats. Who doesn’t love those cute little creatures, they’re an endless source of entertainment, and that’s what makes Neko Atsume the purrfect game. Admittedly, the premise of the title makes you sound like a kitty snatcher, given you lure the felines to your home with goodies and food. However, don’t let this stop you from bringing all the cats to your yard, they make for good company, and some of them have names we’re quite jealous of.

So, who exactly are these Neko Atsume cats? Well, we aim to give you all their names, and what their personalities are. Some are a hit with the ladies, while others are too lazy to shoot their shots. In order to help you become the master of all kitties, we have some helpful tips on how to entice them to your humble abode.

If you need even more kittens in your life, perhaps you should pay a visit to Roblox. There are plenty of cat-inspired games there. If you do, you might even find guides such as our Warrior Cats codes list useful. Alternatively, if Roblox isn’t to your liking, you could look at our picks for the best mobile puzzle games.

How do I encourage Neko Atsume cats to visit?

As with any animal, you can draw the cats to your yard through the use of toys and tasty treats. Anybody that’s ever owned a cat can vouch for how food orientated they are. Honestly, this may be the only time your cat even pays attention to you.

There are also a range of goodies for you to use, with each one helping to attract new cats to your quaint little yard. Oh, and each feline has a different purrsonality, and it would be fair to say that this makes an already adorable game that much cuter.

Neko Atsume cats mementoes

These lovely little items are given to you by individual cats. However, to get your hands on these treasured keepsakes, you must first become good friends with the cat that holds the item you’re after. We know, becoming good friends with a cat? That sounds awful, not something any of us wants to do at all.

Such items include earrings, collars, and a leather choker. We have listed the mementoes alongside the cats they’re associated with.

Rare Neko Atsume cats

These cats think they’re better than everyone else, and they’re right. They’re rare, after all. It takes considerably more effort to get these felines to come and visit you, but we assure you, it’s worth the effort. One cat is called Sassy Fran, and we want to be her friend, while another is called Joe DiMeowgio and we can’t think of anything more perfect, except for maybe Mr Meowgi.

Much like regular cats, the rare felines give you mementoes upon reaching a certain level of friendship. Such items include a compass, pocket watch, baseball, coins, charms, and fish jerky.
