Do the monster mash with the Phobies Symphony of the Undead update

The new Phobies Symphony of the Undead update introduces a new event, nine phobies, and a bunch of fear-ocious maps for you to try out.

The Phobies Symphony of the Undead update is nearly here, just in time for the spooky season. Yes, mobile horror lovers can rejoice as this cutesy take on the genre is ready to kick things up a notch, tackling even more phobias as nine new phobies debut. Not only that, but seven new maps await you, two of which are through two community-created contest winners.

Though it’s not yet among our picks for the best horror games on mobile, the new Phobies characters might just push it over the finish line. First up is the Mummy, and yes, it comes equipped with its offspring, ready to cause all sorts of mayhem and chaos. Or, if the perils of parenthood isn’t the phobie for you, how about the Conductor? If you’ve ever had that dream where you stood on stage in nothing but your underwear, perhaps this phobie is more your speed.

Whichever new phobies you choose to use, you get to deploy them on a variety of new maps, one of which features a “pet” cemetery setting. We both want to watch the Stephen King film and dread the day we enter the cemetery ourselves, even if it’s with a horde of cute phobies.

When is the Phobies Symphony of the Undead update?

The Phobies Symphony of the Undead release date falls on October 3, 2023. That’s tomorrow! So you only have 24 hours to wait until you meet the new characters. Better still, the longest Phobies event so far is due to arrive, in which you get to take part in tough battles over the course of four weeks. If you’re the victor in these battles, you can get all sorts of in-game goodies as a reward.
