If you’ve ever played Dark Souls and thought “hey, this needs more guns”, then the perfect game for you is coming to Nintendo Switch. Gunfire Games’ survival shooter is coming to Nintendo Switch, and though we don’t have a Remnant: From the Ashes release date just yet, we’re led to believe it won’t be that long a wait.

If you don’t know, Remnant: From the Ashes is a genre mashup of RPG, shooter, roguelike, and action, all taking place in a post-apocalyptic world inflicted by the Root, an evil force from out of this world. This adventure is one you don’t have to take alone though, with the possibility of playing co-op through the story with either one of two friends.

Remnant: From the Ashes is notable for its elaborate monster design, with all of them looking like the result of some cross-contamination between Elden Ring’s most horrible baddies and Fallout 3’s radiated abominations. Still, equipped with more than enough weaponry, and we’re talking shooters here, none of your old-fashioned swords and shields, it’s a lot of fun taking out the nightmares that await.

As we mentioned at the start of the article, we don’t have an exact Remnant: From the Ashes release date, but according to a Tweet from Embracer Group investor, @EmbracerInvestor, we can anticipate both digital and retail versions of the game soon, with THQ Nordic publishing the title for Switch.
