2023’s Summoners War: Chronicles Lunar New Year celebrations are in full swing right now, with a ton of new content going live including a brand-new five-star monster and plenty of trials to keep us busy.
The Year of the Rabbit brings benefits to players with lucky pouches that grant monster parts and other helpful items when exchanged by the rabbit and its treasure trove. These can be earned by completing Lunar New Year missions, as well as the dungeon challenges.
Let’s take a look at the new monster on the block – the Harp Magician. Its a dark-type, and is a support class, armed with an array of healing moves and buffs to make your team even better. Harp Magician’s ultimate skill isn’t to be sniffed at either; the ‘Ultimate Song of Switched Destiny’ turns the tables and deals damage to enemies when a fatal blow hits your team. This comes with a new Monster Story, too, to properly introduce them.
But that’s not all – a ton of new things are coming with the new monster and celebrations, like 20 new floors at the Spires of Ascension and Attribute Tower, giving us even more challenges to test our mettle against (and get some tasty rewards). There’s also a new Guild Request event running until January 26th, for even more goodies including Sky Stone.
There’s one last thing, too – a new comic series from Com2uS and Skybound is in the works! Summoners War: Awakening will arrive in April on digital platforms and as physical copies. The series will follow Rai on her summoner journey, and will be written by Justin Jordan, with art by Luca Claretti.
