What are Fire Emblem Engage trials?

Similar to the Fire Emblem Engage arena, the Fire Emblem Engage trials are a series of tests that players tackle in between matches over at the Fire Emblem Engage Somniel. Unlike arena battles though, trials are full matches with one army of units versus another, and trials don’t offer experience when beaten. Instead, these tougher trials demand you win several full matches in succession and offer huge rewards depending on how long you last.

Where is the Fire Emblem Engage Tower of Trials?

You can find the Fire Emblem Engage Tower of Trials in the furthest corner of the Fire Emblem Engage Somniel, and the room leading to the trials is on the edge of a long path on a cliff edge.

How do I make custom Fire Emblem Engage trial maps?

One of the most interesting elements of the Tower of Trials is the ability to create and share custom maps with your friends, to terrorise them or show off your tactical design tips. You can make maps by heading over to the Tower of Trials and choosing custom maps, and then share with others if you both have access to a Nintendo Switch Online account. Annoyingly, players can only share one map per account, so if you want to share a new one, you need to delete your old one.
