It’s exciting times for League of Legends: Wild Rift fans right now, as patch 3.0a is here, and you can look forward to new content and changes coming to the game throughout the update. As usual, such additions include skins, as well as alterations to gameplay and champion performances.
Firstly, the new skins coming as part of the Wild Rift patch 3.0a update are Dragonslayer Olaf and Infernal Kennen, both of which are available as of February 24. As for champion changes, a few of the characters are being altered. Such champions include Amumu, Camille, Draven, Gragas, Jayce, Katarina, Lee Sin, Morgana, Vayne, and Sett, the latter of which has been an unstoppable force since making his debut.
Typically, champion changes occur when a character is either decimating the competition in a manner that can be deemed unfair, or if they’re trailing so far behind their fellow combatants, it feels like kicking a puppy when you take them out. Sett, for example, is losing a bit of his early game power, meaning his fellow champions might be able to stay in his lane for more than ten seconds.
As for Wild Rift gameplay changes, the haste ability on archangel’s staff is dropping to 20, as is the same skill for seraph’s embrace. Meanwhile, armour penetration for the serrated dirk and edge of night is falling to eight, while it increases to 12 for Youmuu’s ghostblade and umbral glaive.
