For the first time, NetEase Games is at Tokyo Game Show 2023 showing off over ten of its existing titles and revealing a brand-new project on the first day of the event. The company is known for developing popular free mobile games like Identity V, Harry Potter: Magic Awakened, and the highly-anticipated Project Mugen.
If you’re as hyped about the Lovebrush Chronicles pre-registration period as we are, you’ll be pleased to hear that NetEase Games’ booth features a demo build of the game for visitors to try out, as well as various exhibits related to Harry Potter: Magic Awakened. Plus, the booth has a full program of demos, giveaways, and stage events planned for across the full conference.
Tokyo Game Show visitors will be the first to hear about NetEase Games’ new console and PC title, which we can’t wait to learn more about. Matt Liu, Head of NetEase Games Overseas Publishing said, “We‘re excited to showcase our latest creations and to immerse ourselves in the rich tapestry of gaming culture. As the digital landscape continues to evolve, NetEase Games will remain at the forefront, committed to pushing the boundaries of interactive entertainment.”
Quantic Dream, which joined NetEase Games back in 2022, is also announcing a new publishing label at the event called Spotlight by Quantic Dream. It plans to showcase three of its upcoming indie titles, Dustborn, Under The Waves, and Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior, at the NetEase Games booth. If you’re more interested in esports, a pro team competition for Knives Out and an Identity V exhibition match are planned for the weekend.
There’s plenty more to explore at the NetEase Games booth over the course of Tokyo Game Show, from the Majyo no Furo Life mobile RPG adaptation to the action-adventure strategic RPG Unveil The World.
