The Pokémon World Championships come around every year and see players go head to head in matches armed with their best teams. This year the event takes place in Yokohama, Japan, and the city is decked out in style with Pokémon popping up everywhere.
If you’re eager to get in on the action, you can complete the easy steps below to get two timed research tasks to complete in the game, offering special rewards to celebrate the championships.
How do I redeem Pokémon Go World Championship 2023 codes?
The streams may be done with, but you can watch rebroadcasts available on the official Pokémon Twitch channel. As you start to watch a stream, there’s a giveaway panel on the page. Verify your Twitch ID here and it tracks how long you watch.
You need to watch for 30 continuous minutes – without minimizing the screen – in order to qualify for the codes. Once you reach the half-hour mark, a button appears and lets you claim your code.
Then, head to the code redemption page, log into your Pokémon Go account, pop the code in and there you go – timed research tasks all for yourself. You have until August 20, 2023, at 12:00 UTC to redeem these codes.
