Tower of Fantasy equipment is a vital part of making your character the best it can be and enhancing and upgrading equipment can help you take down your enemies

Tower of Fantasy has a deep and engaging level of depth that can overwhelm at times. There are various different items, currencies, equipment, types of upgrades, and a bevy of different things in between. So, to help you get your head around just one aspect, we’re going to run you through all the intricacies of equipment.

You can assign Tower of Fantasy equipment to different slots, upgrade or enhance it, and find it in a variety of different places. It’s an important part of building out your character and taking on whatever challenge is next, so understanding every element can be key to victory.

Tower of Fantasy equipment

Okay then, let’s get into all the Tower of Fantasy details you need.

What are Tower of Fantasy equipment slots?

There are various pieces of equipment with different names, all of which can be slotted into different spots:

  • Head
  • Shoulders
  • Chest
  • Wrists
  • Belt
  • Gloves
  • Legs
  • Boots

Where do I find Tower of Fantasy equipment?

You can find equipment in a few places in Tower of Fantasy. The best way is through Joint Operations, which you can learn more about in our Tower of Fantasy co-op guide. Hop into a Joint Operation with strangers or your friends to earn various rewards by the end, including equipment.

You can also find equipment in various other places, such as chests in the overworld, as a reward by completing ruins, or just in the Crystal Dust store. Still, the best way to earn equipment is through Joint Operations, so that’s what we recommend.

How do I upgrade Tower of Fantasy equipment?

There are two types of upgrades for Tower of Fantasy equipment, detailed below.

Enhance Tower of Fantasy equipment

Enhancing equipment lets you improve its base stats and keep those improvements even after switching equipment. To enhance your Tower of Fantasy equipment:

  • Equip the item you want to enhance
  • Press the enhance menu option
  • Hit the big yellow enhance button

This only applies if you have the right enhancement materials, of course, so make sure you’ve got everything you need before you start.

Advance Tower of Fantasy equipment

Advancing equipment does not transfer across to other items. Any advancement is specific to that item and will remain with it when unequipped. To advance Tower of Fantasy equipment:

  • Equip the item you want to advance
  • Press the enhance menu option
  • Select the advancement option at the bottom
  • Press the blue ‘select’ button to advance your item

This only applies if you have the right enhancement materials, of course, so make sure you have everything you need before you start.
