We all love to sip a refreshing, fizzy drink now and then, but it turns out that Disney Dreamlight Valley extra fizzy root beer is more than just a tasty beverage. This fizzy concoction is an important part of Scar’s story quest, and a bare necessity if you hope to restore the Sunlit Plateau to its former glory. How do I make Disney Dreamlight Valley extra fizzy root beer?
The first thing you need to do is head to the Vitalys Mines. Open the green chests and read the sign up the ramp at the centre (next to the red explosive barrel) to get a recipe book, crackling candy, and dried ginger. You can read the recipe book in your inventory to get the regular root beer recipe.
Head to a cooking station to make your extra fizzy root beer. Note that extra fizzy root beer is a different recipe from normal root beer, so don’t use autofill! Add these ingredients to the pot:
- One vanilla
- One sugarcane
- One dried ginger
Note that you need to use dried ginger, not regular ginger. Dried ginger is a quest item, and should be found in the quest ingredient tab. If it doesn’t show up in the quest ingredient tab, look in the vegetable tab. It will be separate from normal ginger.
Once you’ve added your ingredients, hit ‘start cooking’. Voila – you’ve got yourself some extra fizzy root beer.
From here, you simply need to return to the Vitalys Mines and add the fizzy root beer and the crackling candy to the red barrel next to the sign to complete this stage of the quest.
