The short answer is yes, Kirby and the Forgotten Land features cooperative play for you and a friend.

What is Kirby and the Forgotten Land co-op?

Kirby and the Forgotten Land co-op allows you and a friend to play together locally, which has one of you as Kirby, and the other as Bandana Waddle Dee.

To play in co-op, you need to complete the following steps:

  • Start a stage
  • Hit the ‘+’ button
  • Choose to play co-operatively
  • Connect a second joy-con
  • Enjoy!

However, it’s important to bear in mind that Bandana Waddle Dee jumps rather than floats, and uses a spear to attack its foes.
