Marvel Snap’s Legion is a threat in every location

Marvel Snap’s Legion is the latest villain to arrive in the superhero card game, coming to unify locations and lock down your opponent’s options.

A fresh week means a new card in Second Dinner’s superpowered CCG, and this week it’s time for Marvel Snap’s Legion to bring the pain. This X-Men villain is the son of Professor X himself, and his ability to change locations makes him just as much of a pain as his old man in Marvel Snap decks that put the emphasis on control.

Arriving in Marvel Snap as a five-cost eight-power card, Legion’s effect reads as “On Reveal: Replace each other location with this one.” This location takeover power makes Legion a nightmare for unsuspecting opponents when paired with someone like Storm, flooding every location, or even with Rhino, using the pair to remove any location effects on the field.

The addition of Legion is another expansion to Marvel Snap’s still fledgling location-effect cards archetype, alongside others like Quake, Snowguard, and Scarlet Witch. Due to the random element of Scarlet Witch, there still isn’t much of a playstyle built around these cards, but add them all into one deck and you’re sure to upset a few opponents.

Legion is the first new Marvel Snap card of this season to arrive as a series four card, so it only costs 3,000 collector’s tokens in the store. However, with Legion also on spotlight cache rotation for this week, it’s worth trying to pick up the villain by spending credits before using your tokens.
