We’ve finally got a look at the OnePlus Pad Go

While there’s still no OnePlus Pad Go release date, the company is developing a budget Android tablet for launch any day now, and here’s a first look.

Some of the best OnePlus phones all have one key advantage: they’re good value for money. And the Chinese Android manufacturer is doubling down on it with the new OnePlus Pad Go, a budget version of the OnePlus Pad which launched earlier this year – and looked suspiciously like an iPad, yet cost quite a bit less.

However, rather than competing with the best iPad in terms of power, the OnePlus Pad is set to compete on price. We don’t know how much it will cost, but Digital Trends recently shared some renders and spec details for the much-rumored tablet, all of which you can check out below.

Apparently, the OnePlus Pad Go is set to feature a 2.4k display, a resolution that competes with the top-end Apple offerings. In spite of this, it’s a step below the company’s $479 (£449) tablet. So, OnePlus is doing the usual OnePlus things: making something with a premium sheen that doesn’t come with the premium price tag.
