Tower of Fantasy Claudia

Who is Tower of Fantasy’s Claudia?

If her fierce appearance doesn’t give it away, Tower of Fantasy’s Claudia is a righteous, dominant, powerful woman, and certainly isn’t the type of person you want to mess with. Heralded as the ‘captain and commander of all heroes’, she’s known to strike fear into the hearts of her enemies – shortly before slicing them in two with her razor-sharp Guren Blade, of course. But even Claudia has a soft side, as, beneath that tough surface, she hides a secret love for cats.

Claudia is an SSR Simulacra who wields a grievous one-handed sword called Guren Blade.

What is Tower of Fantasy Claudia’s banner?

Tower of Fantasy Claudia’s global release date was September 15, 2022. Claudia’s banner coincided with the release of version 1.5, the first major content update to come to the global release. Her banner is now over, meaning you can’t pull her at the moment. We’re unsure of when she’ll get a rerun, but we’ll update this guide as soon as we find out.

What’s the best Tower of Fantasy Claudia build?

Claudia is a powerful DPS who inflicts grievous damage to enemies, increasing the damage they receive and giving you the opportunity to line up some devastating takedowns. Claudia’s weapon, Guren Blade, has quite a short range, but her fast-paced fighting style allows you to zip from target to target with ease.

Guren Blade has very hit charge rate, allowing you to use your discharges more frequently, but her shatter rate is pretty poor. Luckily, her skill and discharge are capable of shattering enemy shields pretty reliably. However, in order to make the most of Claudia, we recommend teaming her up with a strong shield breaker, then switching to her Guren Blade to destroy the enemy when their defences are down.

What are Tower of Fantasy Claudia’s weapon stats?

Here, we list all the main stats for Claudia’s weapon, Guren Blade. These are the weapon’s base stats before you level it up or equip it with any matrices.

The shatter ranking dictates how quickly Guren Blade can break enemy shields, whereas the charge rate shows how quickly the weapon gains charge.

  • CS: 272
  • Shatter: 7.50 (A)
  • Charge: 12.00 (S)
  • Attack: 16
  • Resistance: 6
  • HP: 1165
  • Type: Grievous – when your weapon is fully charged, your next attack inflicts damage equal to a set percentage of attack, making the target ‘grievous’ for seven seconds. Grievous targets take increased damage.

What are Tower of Fantasy Claudia’s attacks and skills?

Here are each of Tower of Fantasy Claudia’s skills and attacks. Note that this is based on Guren Blade’s level one stats, which increase as you level up the weapon.

Tower of Fantasy Claudia advancement

You can advance Tower of Fantasy weapons by using their corresponding fusion cores, which you get by collecting more than one copy of a character. After you get your first copy of Claudia and her Guren Blade, you can purchase another copy through the limited store during her banner for 120 flame gold. Alternatively, you can get a duplicate of Claudia by pulling on the banner, but, of course, this is entirely up to RNG.

Advancing your weapons by spending fusion cores and gold unlocks special bonuses. Here are all of the bonuses you gain from unlocking each of Claudia’s advancement stars.

  • One star: each time a skill or discharge skill hits a target, you gain a stack of damage boost, increasing your damage dealt by 8% for 25 seconds (can stack up to three times, each successful skill or discharge only grants one stack)
  • Two stars: increases the weapon’s base attack growth by 16%
  • Three stars: when you hit a target with a skill or discharge skill, you apply a stack of War Wounds to them, increasing their incoming physical damage and shatter effects from physical and elemental weapons by 10% for 15 seconds. Can stack once
  • Four stars: increases the weapon’s base HP growth rate by 32%
  • Five stars: when you hit targets with skills or discharge skills, you’re granted a damage boost, increasing all of your damage by 20% for 25 seconds. This effect cannot be stacked
  • Six stars: hitting the same target no longer reduces your damage dealt. After using Guren Blade or a discharge skill, all targets with War Wounds within eight metres gain another stack of War Wounds

What’s the best Tower of Fantasy Claudia matrix set?

Claudia has her own SSR matrices, which are likely to be featured on the limited matrix banner alongside her limited weapon banner. Claudia’s set capitalises on her aerial attack heavy playstyle and buffing her skills and cooldowns, making it a strong pick. Alternatively, pairing two Shiro matrices with two Crow matrices is a good choice, as they boost her damage, shatter, and crit rate.

If you’re looking for a strong SR substitute, Sobek’s Swamp Shadow set is great. It buffs your damage based on how many enemies are around you, which compliments Claudia’s playstyle very well. For an easy-to-obtain R rank option, you can use Plunder for a small physical damage boost until something better comes along.

Head over to our Tower of Fantasy matrices guide to find out more.

What are the best Tower of Fantasy Claudia team comps?

We’ve obviously not had much of a chance to explore Tower of Fantasy Claudia team comps yet, as we only had brief access to her during the closed beta back in May. However, we believe pairing her up with Tower of Fantasy’s King to make the most of both his high shatter rate and the attack weapon resonance bonus will be a good choice.

In the third slow, Tower of Fantasy’s Nemesis will likely be the best option, as she offers some additional range, good damage, and brilliant healing for self-sustain. However, we’ll be sure to update this section as soon as we’ve had the chance to test Claudia out.
