Disney collides with a heap of handsome husbandos in this glorious Japanese title that fuses adventure, rhythm, action, and more, all neatly tied up in a magic school package that’s bound to lead to a titillating tale of spicy sorcery.

But, of course, as with any gacha the question arises – which Twisted Wonderland characters should I pick? Well, that’s where we come in. While we recommend you mostly base your decision on which characters you want to spend your time with (meta is temporary, husbandos are eternal), our Twisted Wonderland tier list will show you which boys fare best in battle, and how to perform a Twisted Wonderland reroll if you don’t get the ones you want. Twisted Wonderland tier list

Twisted Wonderland is heavily narrative based, with heaps of story studded with lessons, exams, and, of course, battles. As such, we recommend above all that you choose your favourite Twisted Wonderland characters for your team, as that’s the whole point of the game! But, of course, certain variations of characters perform better than others, so if you’re looking for the strongest, you can use our Twisted Wonderland tier list as a guide.

As Aniplex has only recently released the game globally, we’ve had to base a lot of our information on how the Twisted Wonderland characters perform in the Japanese version. We’ll be sure to update this tier list as we get more information on the global rankings.

There are three different types of battle in Twisted Wonderland, with each featuring different victory requirements that need to be met. These are:

• Five-turn restricted battle: either inflict more damage than your opponent by the end of all the turns, or reduce their HP to zero
• Unrestricted battle: reduce your opponent’s HP to zero
• Five-turn endurance battle: either survive until the end of all turns, or bring your opponent’s HP to zero

Twisted Wonderland reroll guide

If you didn’t manage to snag your favourite character, don’t you worry. You can do a Twisted Wonderland reroll by following these simple steps.

• Download Twisted Wonderland
• Enter your protagonist name (you can change this later!)
• Download the rest of the required game data
• Choose a dorm and character – you’ll receive an SR Ceremonial Robes version of the character you choose
• Go through the game tutorial, and clear up to prologue seven
• Welcome to the gacha tutorial! Here you’ll get eight summons, with one guaranteed SSR ranked character. If you don’t like the ones you pull, you can hit ‘resummon’ until you get ones you like
• Continue through the story quests
• Return to the title screen and collect your login bonus
• If you’re still unhappy with your pulls, uninstall, then repeat the steps above

Here’s a rundown of all the handsome lads you can pull in Twisted Wonderland.

Heartslabyul Dorm – inspired by Alice in Wonderland

• Riddle Rosehearts: the serious-minding sophomore and housewarden of Heartslabyul, Riddle firmly upholds the Queen of Hearts’ rules, but has a fiery temper
• Ace Trappola: a mischievous and upbeat freshman, Ace is a quick learner who’s always up to something
• Deuce Spade: an earnest freshman with the goal of becoming a respectable mage, Deuce is a hard worker, but can be a little slow on the uptake
• Trey Clover: a mild-mannered junior and vice housewarder of Heartslabyul, Trey acts as a parental figure to the dorm students and often has to smooth things over when Riddle’s strictness gets out of hand
• Cater Diamond: a casual and carefree junior who is an expert at reading the room, Cater often acts as a peacemaker when things get heated. He’s very trendy and super into social media

Savanaclaw Dorm – inspired by The Lion King

• Leona Kingscholar: the imperious second-born prince in his homeland and housewarden of Savanaclaw, Leona may have powerful magical abilities, but is also extremely lazy
• Jack Howl: a stern freshman consistently focused on self-betterment, Jack may be a misfit but he respects the pecking order within the dorm
• Ruggie Bucchi: as a loveable runt of a sophomore who was raised in a poor environment, Ruggie is downright shameless when it comes to food, and spends most of his time cleaning up Leona’s messes

Octavinelle Dorm – inspired by The Little Mermaid

• Azul Ashengrotto: sophomore and housewarden of Octavinelle, Azul runs a café on campus which he uses to gather information. While he may seem benevolent on the surface, he has an extremely calculating personality
• Jade Leech: a soft-spoken and courteous sophomore, Jade is the vice housewarden of Octavinelle and Floyd’s twin brother
• Floyd Leech: Jade’s unpredictable twin brother, Floyd is a sophomore whose mode shifts like the changing tide. He also has a penchant for giving out pet names

Scarabia Dorm – inspired by Aladdin

• Kalim Al-Asim: the housewarden of Scarabia, Kalim is a sophomore who was born into vast wealth, but remains generous and is always smiling
• Jamil Viper: a sophomore born into a family that has served Kalim’s for generations, Jamil is the vice-housewarden of Scarabia who has spent most of his life subject to Kalim’s carefree whims

Pomefiore Dorm – inspired by Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

• Vil Schoenheit: a vain junior and housewarden of Pomefiore, Vil considers himself the fairest of all, and is constantly in the pursuit of beauty
• Epel Felmier: a dainty and beautiful freshman, Epel has a mysterious air about him and distances himself from others
• Rook Hunt: the enigmatic vice housewarden of Pomefiore, Rook is a junior who appreciates sublime aesthetics and holds Vil and Epel’s beauty in high regard

Ignihyde Dorm – inspired by Hercules

• Idia Shroud: the shy and gloomy housewarden of Ignihyde, Idia is a junior who shuts himself away and avoids social situations.
• Ortho Shroud: Idia’s mysterious yet compassionate younger brother, Ortho is upbeat and curious, and is never found far from his sibling

Diasomnia Dorm – inspired by Sleeping Beauty

• Malleus Draconia: the intimidating housewarden of Dismonia, Malleus is a junior who descended from fae, and is one of the most powerful mages in the world
• Lilia Vanrouge: despite his youthful appearance, junior and vice housewarden Lilia is surprisingly thoughtful, and is tasked with overseeing Malleus
• Silver: a sophomore who guards Malleus like a knight, Silver is calm and collected – in fact, he’s so laid back he often crosses into a state of visible drowsiness
• Sebek Zigvolt: a livewire freshman who hopes to become a retainer worthy of Malleus, Sebek views Silver as a rival
