Play for Free! What is the Genshin Impact Lumenstone Adjuvant?
The Genshin Impact Lumenstone Adjuvant is an equippable gadget required to fully explore the Underground Mines of the Chasm. You get it during the Chasm Delvers world quest, from a bench in the miner’s warehouse. Unfortunately, when you first get it, it’s of little use other than emitting a faint glow. However, as you level it up, it’s capable of glowing brighter to help you see your surroundings, destroying Oozing Concretions, unlocking mechanisms, challenges, and more, and even helps you defeat the Ruin Serpent Boss.
You can upgrade the Lumenstone to level ten, with each level earning you a handful of awesome goodies, as well as access to some useful effects that help you as you explore this dangerous terrain. Here are all of the level requirements, bonuses, and rewards.

What is Genshin Impact Lumenspar and Lumenstone ore?
Lumenspar and Lumenstone ore, as shown above, are the materials you need in order to upgrade your Lumenstone Adjuvant. Lumenspar looks like a blue version of the Crimson Agate collectables on Dragonspine, and they appear on your map as a rock-like icon when you get close.
When you upgrade your Lumenstone Adjuvant to level eight, equipping and using it to unleash a Blooming Light blast also marks a blue circle on the map showing you where an uncollected Luminspar is hiding, similar to the way resonance stones point out the locations of Occuli in the overworld map.
Lumenstone ore, on the other hand, looks like a crystal chunk laying on the floor. You don’t need to hunt for many of these, as there are very few laying around, and they are always marked out with a golden beam of light, similar to a tracked quest location.
How do I upgrade my Genshin Impact Lumenstone Adjuvant?
In order to upgrade your Lumenstone, you simply need to gather enough materials, then head to the base camp and talk to Jinwu, who is marked on the map with an icon similar to that of the Lumenspar.
You need to collect a total of 80 Lumenspar to upgrade your Lumenstone Adjuvant to the maximum level. It’s a good idea to be on the lookout for them at all times as you explore, because you need a well-upgraded Lumenstone Adjuvant in order to access certain areas, trials, chests, and rewards around the map.
Genshin Impact Lumenstone ore locations
There are three Lumenstone ores to collect in total. Here’s how to find them:
- Piece one – obtainable as a Chasm Spelunkers quest reward
- Piece two – on the ground in Stony Halls. You can find it after completing The Heavenly Stone’s Debris quest
- Piece three – on the ground after using Key to a Stony Hall during the Wherefore Did the Spiritstone Descend quest

Below, you can find the locations of all the Genshin Impact Lumenspar needed to upgrade your Lumenstone. Additionally, keep in mind that at level eight, your Lumenstone Adjuvant marks out locations of uncollected Lumenspars on your in-game map.
Ad Hoc Main Tunnel Lumenspar locations
- One – inside a cage on the lower level. You can open the cage by finding the Miner’s Key
- Two – hanging on a crane/pulley hook. Simply glide from the nearby platform to grab it
- Three – on the path near the teleport waypoint (this piece is part of the Chasm Spelunkers quest)
- Four – on top of a broken bridge, as you head down the path that leads further into the mines
- Five – near the second teleport waypoint
- Six – on top of a crane/pulley on one of the higher platforms
- Seven – on the ground, inside a jar. Smash the jar to get it
- Eight – above the waterfall
- Nine – near the Underground Waterway, on top of a protruding tree root
- Ten – in the middle of the rope, high up in the air. If you’re having trouble getting to this one, use a bow wielder and go into aiming mode, as this will stop you from falling
- 11 – floating near the top of the cave, close to a lump of amber/cor lapis stone jutting out of the ceiling. Walk along the rope to get close, then climb over to grab it
- 12 – behind a large wooden wheel near the teleport waypoint
- 13 – on one of the large crane/pulley structures high above the ground
- 14 – on a large, broken crane/pulley structure on the ground
- 15 – hovering over a stone platform near the Treasure Hoarder camp
The Chasm Main Mining Area Lumenspar locations
- One – just above the surface of the water
- Two – behind a glowing, purple wall of miasma, called oozing concretions. You need to upgrade your Lumenstone to level six, then use Blooming Light near the wall to clear it and access the Lumenspar
- Three – near the main wooden path, near a broken bridge
- Four – just below the teleport waypoint, near a ladder
- Five – just across from the previous Lumenspar, floating inside a wooden structure on a crossroad bridge
- Six – near the teleport waypoint, inside a tunnel dotted with Starshrooms
- Seven – behind a gate that can only be accessed via a secret entrance on the surface. Find the treasure map fragments in Lumberpick Valley and the Underground Mines treasure hoarder camps to piece together the Treasure Hoarder map and locate the secret entrance
- Eight – near a crane/pulley just beyond the main path
- Nine – near the edge of the map, where you fight a group of slimes for a chest. Simply climb the boulder nearby to get it
- Ten – on another boulder across from the previous Lumenspar
- 11 – near the teleport waypoint, surrounded by four boxes
- 12 – on a crane/pulley jutting out from the platform where the teleport waypoint is located
- 13 – near the previous Lumenspar – simply glide over to get it
- 14 – after following a nearby Seelie southeast from the closest waypoint, it guides you to a bunch of explosive barrels. Blow them up to destroy the wall ahead, then head through to find the Lumenspar floating above a tree root
- 15 – near the Lumenspar surrounded by the boxes, follow the railroad tracks to find this one
Serpent’s Cave/Underground Waterway Lumenspar locations
- One – locked behind a gate that you open through the Heavenly Stone’s Debris quest
- Two – above a wooden piece of debris sticking out of the water near the Fatui Camp
- Three – on top of a large tree
- Four – in a tunnel, near a large mushroom
- Five – floating over a railroad track near a cavern that’s full of black mud and oozing concretions
- Six – floating high in the air. Activate the anemo monument to create an air current that carries you up to it
- Seven – beneath a breakable rock pile at the base of a waterfall
- Eight – next to an oozing concretion wall that blocks off a cave
- Nine – hidden in the ruins, near a geo monument
- Ten – near the end of a broken stone bridge
- 11 – you need to start the Perils in the Dark quest to get to the location where this Lumenspar is. Find it on a pillar overlooking the puzzle
- 12 – beside the waypoint closest to the Ruin Serpent boss
- 13 – hidden in an alcove beside some dark mud and a spoutrock
- 14 – floating in an area surrounded by geo bombs and crystal ores
- 15 – hovering over the ground, surrounded by spiderwebs
Nameless Ruins/Stony Halls Lumenspar locations
- One – blocked behind a glowing, purple, oozing concretions wall. You need to use Blooming Light from a Lumenstone of level six or higher to remove the wall
- Two – near the road, on top of a crumbling pillar
- Three – near the waypoint, floating above a wooden table
- Four – near the waypoint, floating close to the wall
- Five – on top of a crane/pulley with a broken bridge nearby
- Six – near the Stony Halls waypoint, hovering over a platform
- Seven – after completing The Heavenly Stone’s Debris quest, glide down the hole to find a Lumenspar hovering part way down
- Eight – near the waypoint, floating above a ruin
- Nine – hovering over decaying platforms
- Ten – climb the ruins above a large area covered in black mud and oozing concretions
- 11 – high above the oozing concretions
- 12 – on a high ledge in front of a spider, near the centre of the Nameless Ruins
- 13 – also near the centre of the Nameless Ruins, this one’s hovering above a ledge overlooking the oozing concretions
- 14 – on the path to the north of the waypoint near The Glowing Narrows
- 15 – at the camp near the teleport waypoint
The Glowing Narrows Lumenspar locations
- One – near a puddle surrounded by starshrooms
- Two – on a ledge surrounded by three geo bombs. Be careful to hop in and out quickly, to avoid taking damage
- Three – blocked by oozing concretions. Use Blooming Light after upgrading your Lumenstone to level six or higher. The Lumenspar is next to a pressure plate puzzle
- Four – in a small alcove in the wall
- Five – on the broken stone bridge
- Six – hovering above a pillar
- Seven – at the top of the ruined tower
- Eight – on the large, glowing mushroom
- Nine – on a rock in front of a small waterfall, surrounded by crystal ore
- Ten – floating above a tree root wrapped around a stone
- 11 – hovering above the water, near an electro Circin Mage
- 12 – on a mushroom sticking out of a tree
- 13 – above a small pillar near a cluster of geo bombs
- 14 – after opening the door, you can find this one floating in an opening. It’s close to a chunk of Lumenstone ore
- 15 – next to the Black Serpent Knight: Windcutter
- 16 – on the lilac, glowing grass
- 17 – on the stone bridge near the waypoint
