Is there a new Star Wars game coming to Switch?
A new Star Wars game did arrive on the Nintendo Switch in January 2025, though it’s just a remaster of Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Battles. Remasters come out of nowhere all the time, so there’s a chance we will see another one before the release of the Nintendo Switch 2. As soon as we know more about whatever the next Star Wars game is, we’ll let you know.

Will the KOTOR remake come to Switch?
At the moment, the long-awaited Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake isn’t announced for Switch. Given that we’ve not heard any updates about the game since it was revealed in 2021, this could change nearer to its release – assuming it still eventually sees the light of day.
The KOTOR remake is set to come to PlayStation, and then likely PC at a later date – though we don’t know a release date for any platform yet. While we wait for news, you can play Knights of the Old Republic II on Switch, though.
